drinking
water
for 3 to 5 days.
Medicated
water
should be consumed
within
12
hours,
and
fresh solution
prepared
daily.
Remove
other
sources
of
unmedicated
water.
Pigs:
For
oral administration in drinking water.
For
enteric infections and pneumonia: Add 100-

of
drinking
water
for 3
to
5 days.
Medicated
water

HEALTH HAZARD INFORMATION
HEALTH EFFECTS
No adverse health effects expected if the product is handled in
accordance with this Safety Data Sheet and the
product label. Symptoms that may arise if the product is mishandled
are:
ACUTE EFFECTS
SWALLOWED: Swallowing may result in diarrhoea and abdominal pain.
EYE: Exposure to the dust may cause discomfort and eye irritation.
SKIN: Moderate irritant. May result in skin rash and dermatitis.
INHALED: Inhalation of dust may result in respiratory irritation.
CHRONIC EFFECTS:
Sensitisation reactions from repeated skin contact (rashes,
dermatitis) may occur.
TOXICITY DATA:
Trimethoprim LD50 (oral mouse) 1550mg/kg
Sulphadiazine LD50 (oral mouse) 1500mg/kg
