FOR USE ONLY ON CATS FROM 8 WEEKS OF AGE
INDICATIONS
For the treatment, prevention and control of flea (_Ctenocephalides_
spp.) and tick infestation
(_Haemaphysalis longicornis_), flea allergy dermatitis and biting lice
(_Felicola subrostratus_) on
cats and kittens.
FRONTLINE PLUS has a rapid onset of action and kills re-infestations
with newly acquired
adult fleas for at least one month. FRONTLINE PLUS also prevents the
development of flea
eggs, larvae and pupae produced by adult fleas acquired for at least
one month after
treatment.
FRONTLINE PLUS Controls Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD) by flea control.
FRONTLINE
PLUS breaks the FAD cycle by eliminating fleas which are the cause.
Animals with severe
FAD may require additional treatment.
FRONTLINE PLUS may be used as the only product for flea control as it
breaks the flea life
cycle on the animal and its surroundings by killing all stages of
fleas. The product contains an
adulticidal active ingredient, fipronil, in combination with an
ovicidal and larvicidal active
ingredient, (S)-methoprene.
FRONTLINE PLUS does not repel fleas, but will kill newly-acquired
fleas on animals within 8-
24 hours.
WATER FASTNESS
Cats may be treated with FRONTLINE PLUS once dry following bathing and
shampooing.
The product will spread over the coat of the animal within 24 hours.
Once spread,
FRONTLINE PLUS is water fast. It is recomme
