EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine lowers blood cholesterol level by inhibiting cholesterol
synthetase (HMG-CoA
reductase) in liver.
It is usually used to treat hypercholesterolemia and familial
hypercholesterolemia.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
