ACTIVE CONSTITUENTS: Each kg contains Florfenicol 20 g
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
FOR ORAL USE ONLY
To be administered as a premix in the feed.
DOSAGE:
10mg Florfenicol per kg bodyweight per day for 5 consecutive days.
MIX THOROUGHLY IN FEED BEFORE USE.
To treat pigs eating 5% of their bodyweight at the recommended dose of
10mg/kg bwt, incorporate 10 kg
of Florfenicol Premix per tonne of feed (200 ppm florfenicol)
administered daily for 5 consecutive days in
the feed.
Florfenicol Premix should be thoroughly mixed with a small portion of
feed (20-50 kg) before it is
incorporated into the bulk to ensure even distribution.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Do not use in pigs intended for breeding, as the
effect of florfenicol on the
reproductive function of pigs has not been assessed.
This product is not suitable for use where the feed intake of the
animal has already decreased.
SIDE EFFECTS: Transient peri-anal inflammation may occur following
treatment.
Indiscriminate use of antibiotics may lead to the development of
antibiotic resistance. Florfenicol Premix
should be used in line with the above recommendations.
WITHHOLDING PERIODS
_IT IS AN OFFENCE FOR USERS OF THIS PRODUCT TO CAUSE RESIDUES
EXCEEDING THE RELEVANT MRL IN THE FOOD NOTICE: _
_MAXIMUM RESIDUE LEVELS FOR AGRICULTURAL COMPOUNDS. _
MEAT: Animals producing meat or offal for human consumption must not
be sold for slaughter either
during treatment or within 14 DAYS of the last treatment.
