FERATOX
® BIO BAG 12 – FOR THE CONTROL OF POSSUMS
DANGER
Keep out of the reach of children.
Read the label before use. Do not handle until all safety precautions
have been read and understood.
Contains Potassium Cyanide 9.4g/kg in a Feratox Pellet encased in 12g
of Ferafeed Paste in a paper bio degradable bait station as a ready to
use bait.

Feratox Bio Bag 12 must be under the control of a Certified Handler
and applied by a
person holding a Controlled Substance Licence.
Tracking Control applies.
Take all reasonable steps to ensure that the substance does not cause
any
significant adverse effects to the environment beyond the application
area. Do not
apply directly into or onto water.
WARNING: The Feratox pellet encased in the Ferafeed Paste contains
potassium
cyanide and is extremely dangerous if swallowed or absorbed through
the skin. This
generates toxic hydrogen cyanide gas on contact with acids.
Harmful if swallowed. Contact skin sensitiser. Suspected
reproductive/development
toxicant. Toxic to aquatic life, and terrestrial vertebrates, harmful
in the soil
environment and to terrestrial invertebrates.
PRECAUTIONS: Store in the original container in a cool dry place away
from
foodstuffs and under lock and key. Carry overalls and gloves and use
when
disposing of damaged or expired Feratox in Bio Bag12. Wash hands after
use and
before eating or smoking. Avoid contamination of any waterways with
bait or used
containers.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: To be under the control of a Certified Handler.
Ensure
Feratox Bio Bag 12 container is opened in a ventilated area.
FOR USE ON POSSUMS: The Feratox Bio Bag 12 must be set at a minimum 20
cm
from the ground. The 12g of Ferafeed encasing the Feratox pellet will
be sufficient
to ensure the possum is confidently feeding on the bait crushing the
Feratox pellet
in the process.
The Feratox pellet in the Feratox Bio Bag 12 will decompose and
detoxify within
days once it
