37861 - Evacuator, smoke, surgical

Therapeutic indications:

The KLS Martin marVAC smoke evacuator and accessories are intended to be used for removing surgical plume. The device can be used either as a stand-alone device or in combination with an electrosurgical unit. The air is sucked in, cleaned by passing it through a high-performance air filter (ULPA standard) and subsequently returned to the ambient air. Optionally, the removed air can be discharged to a central evacuation system. The air cleaning process is designed to remove harmful substances such as aerosols (which are retained by the ULPA high-performance particle filter) and organic gases that could expose patients or personnel to unpleasant odors. Smoke evacuation takes place at two operating levels (Standby suction and Active suction) both with adjustable power and delay time.
