EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine suppresses the action of TNF, which is considered to be
a primary factor that is
related to immune mechanism, inflammation and pain, and improves the
symptoms
associated with rheumatoid arthritis and juvenile idiopathic
arthritis. It also prevents the
damage of joints and bones in rheumatoid arthritis.
It is usually used to treat rheumatoid arthritis and polyarticular
active juvenile idiopathic
arthritis. However, it does not completely cure the disease.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch,
rash, etc.) to any medicines
or foods.
If you have infection, tuberculosis, demyelinating disorders such as
multiple sclerosis or its
past history, congestive heart failure, blood disorders or its past
history, a history of
interstitial pneumonia.
If you are a hepatitis B virus carrier or have a history of hepatitis
B.
・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may
interact to enhance or
diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and
dietary supplements
as well as other prescription medicines.)
