EQUINOX ANTHELMINTIC PASTE FOR HORSES is a palatable, broad spectrum
anthelmintic with a wide
safety margin, designed for administration orally by syringe.
INDICATIONS: For the control of adult and immature forms of
_Parascaris equorum, Oxyuris equi,_
_Trichostrongylus axei, Strongylus _spp, and susceptible small
strongyles and adult _Habronema microstoma_
in horses. It kills the tissue stages of _Strongylus edentatus_ and
aids in the control of the migrating stages
of _Strongylus vulgaris_ (59-88% activity) with corresponding
reduction in arterial lesions. A reduction in the
prevalence of associated colic could be expected. It sterilises worm
eggs within 24 hours of dosing. The
boticide trichlorfon may be administered concurrently. It may be
administered to sick, debilitated or
pregnant animals provided normal care is taken in handling them.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE.
Dose orally in accordance with bodyweight by turning ring to
appropriate setting on barrel side of plunger.
WITHHOLDING PERIOD (MEAT): DO NOT USE LESS THAN 28 DAYS BEFORE
SLAUGHTER FOR HUMAN
CONSUMPTION.
SAFETY DIRECTIONS: HARMFUL IF ABSORBED BY SKIN CONTACT OR SWALLOWED.
