Directions for Use:
Not recommended for use in acute or infectious joint conditions in
horses. For a diagnosis
to determine these conditions, or in the event of adverse experience
(eg diarrhoea) or
where response is unsatisfactory, consult your veterinarian. Use with
caution in pregnant or
lactating animals as safe use in these groups has not been
established. Use with caution in
animals with bleeding, liver or kidney disorders.

Dosage and
Administration:
Equine Joint Support Formula 2 is a concentrated joint supplement,
blended for easy use
on a highly palatable base.
Initial administration:
50 g (2 level scoops) per day mixed with feed for 4 weeks.
For a 500 kg horse the initial dose rate of 50 g (2 level scoops)
mixed with feed once daily
provides 10,000 mg glucosamine sulphate and 3,000 mg sodium
chondroitin sulphate per
day.
Ongoing maintenance:
25 g (1 level scoop) per day.
For a 500 kg horse the maintenance dose of 25 g (1 level scoop) mixed
with feed once
daily provides 5,000 mg glucosamine sulphate and 1,500 mg sodium
chondroitin sulphate
per day.
Higher dose rates may be administered. For a 500 kg horse the highest
dose rate of 100 g
(4 level scoops) mixed with feed once daily provides 20,000 mg
glucosamine sulphate per
day and 6,000 mg sodium chondroitin sulphate per day.
