EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine decreases hypertonia in skeletal muscle and dilates
blood vessels to increase
muscle blood flow by suppressing spinal reflex and spontaneous
discharge of gamma motor
neurons. It consequently improves symptoms associated with myotonia.
It is usually used for improvement of myotonic state in cervical
syndrome, shoulder
periarthritis, or low back pain, and to treat spastic paralysis caused
by cerebrovascular
disorder, posttraumatic sequleae, etc.
