EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine improves diabetic peripheral neuropathy by inhibiting
aldose reductase and
suppressing intraneuronal accumulation of sorbitol.
It is usually used to treat numbness, pain, abnormal vibratory
sensation or abnormal heart
rate variability associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
