EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine shows antitumor effect and immunosuppressive effect by
inhibiting DNA
synthesis.
It is usually used for the treatment of various cancers including
multiple myeloma, malignant
lymphoma, lung cancer, breast cancer, melanocytoma, etc., the
pretreatment of
hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, suppression of
graft-versus-host disease in
hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, the previous treatment of
transfusion therapy of
cancer-specific T cells, systemic AL amyloidosis, and the treatment of
treatment-resistant
rheumatoid diseases.
