COMPOSITION:
Crotamiton
10%
Sulphur precipitated 8%
INACTIVE INGREDIENTS:
Sorbitan monostearate, polysorbate 60, cetyl esters wax,
cetostearyl alcohol, octyldodecanol, benzyl alcohol, purified water.
THERAPEUTIC ACTIVITY:
For the treatment of scabies and itchy areas on the skin
(pruritis).
WHEN SHOULD THE PREPARATION NOT BE USED?
Do not use this preparation if you are sensitive to any of its
ingredients or to other skin preparations for topical treatment.
Do not use this preparation for acutely inflamed or weeping
skin, or on cracked skin.
DO NOT USE THIS PREPARATION WITHOUT CONSULTING A DOCTOR
BEFORE STARTING TREATMENT:
If you are pregnant.
WARNINGS:
If you are sensitive to any type of food or medicine, inform your
doctor before commencing treatment with this preparation.
Avoid contact of this preparation with the eyes. In case of
contact, wash eyes immediately with water.
Nursing mothers should not apply the preparation on their
nipples or on the surrounding area.
DRUG INTERACTIONS:
If you are taking another drug concomitantly or if you have just
finished treatment with another medicine,
including non-
prescription medicines and nutritional supplements,
inform the
attending doctor in order to prevent hazards or lack of efficacy
arising from drug interactions. This is especially important in
regards to cosmetic products that may dry out the skin.
SIDE EFFECTS: In addition to the desired effect of the preparation,
adverse reactions may occur during the course of using this
preparation, for example redness or peeling of the skin.
SIDE EFFECTS THAT REQUIRE SPECIAL ATTENTION:
Local irritation, rash or inflammation (that did not exist before
