DRONTAL® ALLWORMER FOR LARGE DOGS
Tablets for the control of Roundworm (Ascarids), Hookworm, Whipworm
and
Tapeworm (including Hydatid tapeworm) and for the control of the
shedding of
cysts of the protozoan _Giardia spp_ in dogs
Each tablet contains 875 mg febantel, 504 mg pyrantel embonate and 175
mg
praziquantel

WARNING- Suspected of damaging fertility or the unborn child. May

HANDLING- Do not handle unless all safety precautions are understood.
Do
not generate or inhale dust. Wash hands thoroughly after handling and

eating.

TREATMENT PROGRAMMES FOR WORMS
ROUNDWORM: _Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina_
HOOKWORM: _Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala _
WHIPWORM: _Trichuris vulpis _
TAPEWORM: _Taenia _spp., _Echinococcus granulosus_, _Dipylidium
caninum _
PUPPIES: Puppies should be treated every 2 weeks from the age of two
to
twelve weeks, then monthly until 6 months of age.
ADULT DOGS: (ABOVE 6 MONTHS OF AGE) should be dewormed every 3 months.
Dogs heavily infested with roundworms, hookworms or whipworms may
require retreatment after 14 days. Where tapeworm control only is
required,
for example where flea tapeworm segments keep reappearing 2-3 weeks
after
treatment due to reinfestation, or where _Taenia ovis_ control is
required, use
DRONCIT® between DRONTAL treatments
TREATMENT PROGRAMMES FOR GIARDIA
GIARDIA INFESTATION: Treat for three consecutive days at recommended
dose.
Do not exceed recommended doses.
