Therapeutic indications:

INDICATIONS: For the management of bacterial or fungal skin infections in dogs or cats. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Bathe 2 to 3 times per week for 2-3 weeks, or as directed by your veterinarian.  Wet the animal with cool water from the neck down and apply shampoo first on the skin abnormalities. Starting with a quarter-size amount of product, massage into the fur to reach the skin.  Repeat until the entire body is lightly coated with shampoo.  Leave shampoo on for 10 minutes before rinsing with cool water until the water runs clear.  For a no-rinse treatment between baths, ask your veterinarian about DOUXO® Chlorhexidine Mousse or Chlorhexidine Micro-Emulsion Spray.

CHLORHEXIDINE SHAMPOO
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Chlorhexidine gluconate 3%, Climbazole 0.5%,
Phytosphingosine
salicyloyl 0.05%.
INACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Water, Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Decyl
Glucoside, Capryloyl
Glycine, PEG-120 Methyl Glucose Dioleate, Propylene Glycol,
Triethanolamine, Phenoxyethanol,
Sodium Hydroxide, Fragrance, Citric Acid.
PROPERTIES: DOUXO® Chlorhexidine Shampoo is for antiseptic cleansing
of bacterial or fungal
infections. This low-lather formula gently removes dirt, crust and
debris. It also contains
Phytosphingosine, a pro-ceramide to help moisturize and support a
healthy skin barrier.

CAUTIONS: For external use on dogs or cats only. Avoid contact with
the eyes. If eye contact occurs,
rinse thoroughly and consult your veterinarian. If skin irritation
occurs or increases, discontinue use and
consult with your veterinarian. Wash hands after use.
