WHAT DONNA FORTE
IS USED FOR
Donna
Forte
is
used
as
an
additional
treatment
for
Osteoarthritis,
a
medical
condition where the cartilage that
cushions the ends of bones in the
joints
deteriorate
over
time,
eventually
causing
pain
and
affecting mobility.
HOW DONNA FORTE
WORKS
Donna
Forte
contains
glucosamine sulphate as an active
ingredient. Glucosamine sulphate
is a chemical found in the human
body. It is used by the body to
produce
a
variety
of
other
chemicals
that
are
involved
in
building
fluid
that
surrounds
joints.
BEFORE YOU USE DONNA FORTE

_When you must not use it _
Do not take this medicine if you
have an allergy to:
•
glucosamine
•
shellfish / seafood
•
any
of
the
other
ingredients
listed at the end of this leaflet
Do not use in children under 12
years unless recommended by a
doctor.
Do not take this medicine after
the
expiry
date
printed
on
the
pack or if the packaging is torn or
shows signs of tampering.
If you are not sure whether you
should start taking this medicine,
talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Tell
your
doctor
if
you
have
allergies to any other medicines,
foods, preservatives or dyes.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for
advice
before
taking
this
medicine if you are pregnant or
breastfeeding.
Tell your doctor if you have any

the
following
medical
conditions:

Type 2 diabetes
•
Overweight
Those with diabetes, or who are
overweight
and
have
problems
with blood glucose levels, should
have their blood sugar carefully
monitored
if
they
use
glucosamine preparations.
