EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine reversibly inhibits the enzyme which degrades
neurotransmitters in the brain to
increase the amount of acetylcholine in the brain. It delays
progression of dementia symptoms
such as memory impairment.
It is usually used to inhibit progression of dementia symptoms in
Alzheimer-type dementia or
Lewy body dementia.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch,
rash, etc.) to any medicines
or foods.
If you have bradyarrhythmia such as sick sinus syndrome, sinoatrial
block, atrioventricular
block, Parkinson's disease/syndrome or history of gastric/duodenal
ulcer.
・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may
interact to enhance or
diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and
dietary supplements
