WHAT DEQ LOZENGE IS USED FOR
DEQ is used to treat gum, mouth and
throat infection including inflammation
of mouth gums and tonsil, sore throat
and infection causing inflammation of
the heart and nervous system.
DEQ
Lozenges may be used as adjunct with
other chemotherapeutic agents or
antibiotics in the treatment of the oral-
buccal cavity.
HOW DEQ LOZENGE WORKS
Dequalinium Chloride has antibacterial
and antifungal properties. By dissolving
the DEQ slowly inside the mouth, the
active ingredients is release and confine
mainly to the mouth and throat.
Thus its
action remains localized.

Do not use DEQ if you have allergy to
DequaliniumChloride, Thyrothricin
and other ingredients inside DEQ

Please talk to a doctor before taking
DEQ Lozenge if you are pregnant,
trying to get pregnant or think you may
be pregnant.

for advice before taking any medicine.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you
are taking any other medicines,

prescription from a pharmacy,
supermarket or health food shop.
HOW TO USE DEQ

_How much to use _
One lozenge to be sucked and
dissolved slowly every 2 to 3 hours. In
severe cases, one lozenge every hour.
Follow all directions given to you by
your doctor and pharmacist carefully.

contained in this leaflet. If you do not
understand the instru
