STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
Store in closed, original container in a cool, well ventilated area
out of
direct sunlight.
Metal drums and plastic containers:
Triple or preferably pressure rinse
containers before disposal. Adding rinsing to wash tub. Do not dispose
of undiluted chemicals on site. If recycling replace cap and return
clean
containers to recycler or designated collection point. If not
recycling,
break, crush or puncture and bury empty containers in a local
landfill. If
no landfill is available, bury the containers below 500mm in a
disposal
pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose clear of
waterways,
desirable vegetation and tree roots. Empty containers and product
should
not be burnt.
Plastic bags:
Single rinse before disposal. Add rinsings to wash tub. Do
not dispose of undiluted chemicals on site. Puncture and bury empty
bags in a local authority landfill. If no landfill is available, bury
the bags
below 500mm in a disposal pit specifically marked and set up for this
purpose clear of waterways, desirable vegetation and tree roots. Empty
bags and product should not be burnt.
Refillable containers:
Empty contents fully into application equipment.
Close all valves and return to point of supply for refill or storage.
