INDICATIONS FOR USE AND
DOSAGE
CATTLE:
Treatment
of
follicular
ovarian cysts: 4 ml. Improvement
of the fertility in the early post-
partum phase: 2 ml. Induction of
ovulation in cows with regular or
irregular cycling or for initiating
the resumption of ovarian cycle in
acyclic cows: 2 ml. Short or silent
heats and prolonged heats: 2 ml.
Prevention of delayed ovulation
and ovulation synchronisation at
the time of artificial insemination:
2
ml.
Oestrus
Synchronisation
Programmes: 1 ml.
HORSES: Induction of ovulation: 4
ml.
Administration is performed
when, after rectal or ultrasound
examination,
a
follicle
of
a
diameter
greater
than
35
mm
is
observed. Treatment
may
be
repeated if, after a period of 24-36
hours, ovulation does not occur.
Treatment of anoestrus: 4 ml.
RABBITS: Induction of ovulation and
conception
rate
enhancement:
0.2-0.3
ml.
Treatment
may
be
administered 24 h postpartum.
Mating
or
insemination
must
take
place
immediately
after
administration.
USE DURING PREGNANCY
AND LACTATION
DALMARELIN
should
not
be
used
in
pregnant
animals,
as
it
is
a
synthetic
reproductive
hormone.
However,
no
contraindications
are
known
for
GnRH
and
its
analogues.
METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
Administer by the intramuscular
route.
