MASIDYNE
IODOPHOR TEAT SANITISER
Active Constituents: 20g/L AVAILABLE IODINE
MASIDYNE is a medicated formula containing Lanolin 16g/L and Glycerol
46g/L, which can be used as a teat dip or spray, aiding in the control
of Mastitis.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
TO AVOID CONTAMINATION, REMOVE ALL MASIDYNE FROM TEATS BEFORE MILKING.
Ensure teats are CLEAN and DRY before milking to reduce organic and
bacterial contaminations and iodine
residue in milk. If washing is required for heavily soiled udder or
teats, ensure they are properly dried. Thoroughly spray or dip all
teats after every milking. For best results a fresh solution should be
made up
daily using clean or boiled water. Do not top up solutions made up on
previous day.
SITUATION
TEAT DIP - After each cow has been milked, immerse teats in the
MASIDYNE solution. Use a plastic or other
non-metal type container for iodine solution. Clean out dip cup as
teat dip gets low. Do not just top up the dip.
TEATSPRAY - After each cow has been milked, spray teats with MASIDYNE
solution ensuring complete
coverage of each teat and droplets form on teat ends. Spray upwards
from underneath the teats, not just from
the side to side and ensure the whole surface of each teat is covered.
EMOLLIENT (food grade glycerine) may be included to a maximum of 10%.
RATE
1L MASIDYNE to 3L clean cool potable water.
1L MASIDYNE to 3L clean cool potable water.
Dilute 3 parts of Masidyne in 8 parts of clean
cool potable water and 1 part of emollient.
