Therapeutic indications:

CSF-Shunt Assemblies and Shunt Assembly Kits include a CSF-Flow Control Velve and an integral distal catheter. Shunt Assembly Kits also include a separate ventricular catheter. These devices are designed as components of CSF-Flow Control Shunts for use in shunting CSF from the ventricles of the brain into the right atrium of the heart or to the peritoneal cavity. An implantable tube, typically containing a valve, used to divert excessive cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) in the skull (hydrocephalus) to either the peritoneal cavity or the right atrium, where it can be absorbed back into the body.
