Therapeutic indications:

Intended for oral or nasal intubation and are indicated for airway management. Although uncuffed tracheal tubes are ordinarily used in pediatric airway management, in some cases (e.g. pulmonary function testing or aspiration protection), use of a small diameter cuffed tracheal tube may be indicated. The proper designation, "oral", "nasal", or "oral/nasal" is printed on the tracheal tube.
