copper as cupric oxide
needles.
Sustained release copper capsules for the prevention and treatment of
copper deficiency in
cattle over three months of age. Each capsule contains 10 g sustained
release copper particles.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
CONTRAINDICATIONS
THIS PRODUCT IS CONTRAINDICATED FOR USE IN CATTLE OF UNKNOWN COPPER
STATUS OR THOSE
TREATED WITH OTHER SOURCES OF COPPER.
EXCESSIVE COPPER IS TOXIC. THIS PRODUCT IS CONTRAINDICATED FOR USE IN
CATTLE SUFFERING
FROM JAUNDICE AND OTHER LIVER DISORDERS SUCH AS LIVER FLUKE, OR STOCK
GRAZING PLANTS
CONTAINING TOXIC ALKALOIDS. E.G. HELIOTROPE, RAGWORT, PATERSONS CURSE
(SALVATION JANE).
THIS PRODUCT IS CONTRAINDICATED FOR USE IN CALVES LESS THAN THREE
MONTHS OF AGE (I.E: WHEN
RUMEN IS NOT DEVELOPED).
NOT TO BE USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH SELENIUM SUPPLEMENTATION UNLESS
DEFICIENCY OF BOTH
COPPER AND SELENIUM HAS BEEN CONFIRMED
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Calves, up to 200kg (under 1 year old) – one capsule per head orally
per year.
Adult cattle, over 200kg – 2 capsules per head orally per year or 1
capsule of Copperplan 20
Copper Capsules for Adult Cattle orally per year.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
To be effective the capsule must be swallowed. Use the correct
administrator, which delivers
the capsules directly into the gullet.
In areas where liver fluke are endemic, stock should be treated with a
highly effective
flukicide at least three weeks before dosing with this copper
supplement.
