                                COPGANE 2.5g Capsules for Adult Sheep and Goats
dissolve
in
the
rumen,
releasing
the
enclosed
copper
needles. The copper needles are slowly dissolved in the
digestive tract and the animal absorbs the copper.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
CONTRAINDICATIONS AND PRECAUTIONS:
This product is contraindicated for use in lambs or kids less
than 2 months of age.
The product should not be administered to animals of
unknown copper status or those treated with any other
source of copper within the previous 12 months.
The dose should not be repeated within 12 months. This
product should not be administered to animals suffering from
any form of liver disease such as jaundice or liver fluke or to
animals
grazing
plants
containing
toxic
alkaloids
e.g.
Heliotrope, Ragwort, Patersons Curse (Salvation Jane).
Seek Veterinary Advice to verify the Copper status of the
animals before treatment.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Adult Sheep and Goats: 1 capsule administered orally per animal.
GENERAL DIRECTIONS: Administer using a balling gun that delivers the
capsule direct into the gullet. To be effective the capsule must be
swallowed
by the animal. Dose animals late winter or early spring unless copper
supplementation is required immediately. Dose pregnant females early
in
pregnancy to allow protection of the lamb or kid against copper
deficiency. In
Liver Fluke endemic areas treat animals with a flukicide at least 3
weeks
before using this copper supplement.
WITHHOLDING PERIODS: NIL

EXPORT SLAUGHTER INTERVAL (ESI): ESI not required.
SAFETY DIRECTIONS: Copper oxide may irritate the eyes and skin. Avoid
contact with the eyes and skin. Wash hands after use.
