INDICATIONS: As an aid in the treatment of bacterial enteritis, bacterial respiratory tract infections and coccidiosis in calves, and bacterial enteritis in foals, caused by microorganisms susceptible to neomycin and/or sulfamethazine. DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: _To reduce the development of antimicrobial resistance and maintain _ _effectiveness, use this antibiotic prudently and for the shortest duration required to achieve the desired _ _clinical outcome. _Administer orally with the aid of a balling gun, 2 bolus per 50 kg of body weight twice daily the first day, and 1 bolus per 50 kg of body weight twice daily for the next 2 to 3 days. Do not administer for more than 4 consecutive days. CAUTIONS: Severely dehydrated animals should not be treated with this drug. To maintain adequate hydration and ensure adequate urine flow, water should be readily available to animals receiving this drug. WARNINGS: Treated animals must not be slaughtered for use in food for at least 30 days after the latest treatment with this drug.
