fluvastatin, torsemide.

Cimetidine(forstomachulcer),fluconazole,ketoconazole,

voriconazole(fortreatmentoffungalinfections),etravirine

(forHIV),felbamate(forepilepsy),fluoxetine,fluvoxamine

(fordepression),ticlopidine(forepilepsy),moclobemide

(fordepression),ciprofloxacin(antibiotic),carbamazepine,

oxcarbamazepine(forepilepsy),chloramphenicol(antibiotic)

ormedicinesfortreatmentofheartburnfromthePPIgroup

(see “WARNINGS”).

SideeffeCtS:

Inadditiontothedesiredeffectsofthemedicine,someside

effectsmayappearduringtreatment,suchas:bruising,

nasalbleeding,bloodinurineandgastrointestinalbleeding,

constipation,rashand/oritchingand/orgeneralallergic

reactions,diarrhea,nausea,vomiting,headache,backache,

dizziness,decreaseinbloodpressure,jointpain,abdominal

pain,dyspepsia,heartburn,inflammationofthemouth,

confusion,hallucinations,tastedisturbancesandmuscle

pain.

Side effects that require special attention:

Loss of balance (vertigo, rare) - refer to the physician.

Ifanyclinicalsignsoffever,confusion,chills,signsof

inflammation,extremefatigue,sorethroat,yellowingof

theskinortheeyes,swellingoftheface,lipsand/ortongue,

appear - refer to the physician immediately!

Unusualbleeding,purpura(appearanceofredspotsor

bruisesontheskin),itchingorrash,appearanceofskin

bruises,shortnessofbreathordifficultyinbreathing,

bronchitis,coughing(rare):discontinuetreatmentandrefer

to the physician.

Intheeventthatyouexperiencesideeffectsnotmentioned

inthisleaflet,orifyoufeelanychangeinyourgeneral

health, consult your physician immediately.

Dosage according to physician’s instructions only.

Recommendeddosageunlessotherwiseprescribed

One tablet a day, at a fixed time.

Ifyouhadaheartattackthephysicianmayinstructyouto

take4 Clopid75mgtabletsonetimeonly,atthebeginning

oftreatment.Afterwards-theregulardosageisone Clopid

75 mgtablet a day.

Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

thismedicineisnotusuallyintendedforinfantsand

children under the age of 18 years.

Thismedicineistobetakenatregularintervalsas

determined by the attending physician.

Ifyouhaveforgottentotakethismedicineatthespecified

time,takeadoseassoonasyouremember,butnevertake

two doses together!

Ifyourememberaftermorethan12hourshavepassed

sincethelastdosingtime,skiptheforgottendoseandwait

forthenextfixedtime,takeatablet,andcontinuetotake

themedicineasusual.Ifyoutakeadoubledosebymistake,

refertotheattendingphysicianimmediately,becauseofthe

increased risk of bleeding.

Each tablet contains 2.6 mg lactose.

Do not use this medicine if you are breastfeeding.

Donotusethismedicineifthereisaknownsensitivityto

any of its ingredients.

Donotusethismedicineifyousufferfromactive

pathologicalbleedingsuchas:pepticorduodenalulcer,

intracranial hemorrhage.

Donotusethismedicineifyousufferfromsevereliver

insufficiency.

donotusethismedicinewithoutconsultingyour

physician before commencing treatment:

If you are pregnant.

Ifyousufferorhavesufferedinthepastfromimpaired

functionof:theheartand/orvascularsystem,theliver,the

kidney/urinarytract,thebloodsystem(e.g.coagulation

etc., which can lead to internal bleeding).

Ifyouareatriskofbleeding,e.g.duetorecentsevere

injury.

If you suffered from a cerebrovascular blood clot.

If you had a stroke in the last 7 days.

Ifyouhaverecentlyundergonesurgery(includingdental).

Ifyouaretakingmedicinesfromtheprotonpumpinhibitor

group(suchas:omeprazole,lansoprazole,pantoprazole,

esomeprazole).

waRningS:

Duringtreatmentwiththismedicine,bloodcountshouldbe

performed at the end of the first month of treatment.

Ifyouaresensitivetoanytypeoffoodormedicine,inform

yourphysicianbeforecommencingtreatmentwiththis

medicine.

Ifyouhaverecentlyundergoneorareabouttoundergo

surgeryinthenexttwoweeks(includingdental)orany

procedurewhichrequiresanesthesia,youmustinform

theanesthesiologistthatyouaretakingthismedicine.Itis

possiblethatthephysicianwillinstructyoutostoptreatment

with this medicine one week before the surgery.

Intheeventofbleedingfromacutorwound,thecoagulation

processwilltakelongerthanusual,andduringcombined

treatmentwithaspirin,thebleedingmaytakeevenlonger.

However,ifthebleedingcontinuesbeyondareasonable

period of time, refer to the physician immediately!

Thismedicinecontainslactoseandmaycauseanallergic

reaction in people sensitive to lactose.

Themedicinecontainsmannitol,whichmayhaveamild

laxative effect.

Avoidtakingmedicinesfortreatmentofheartburnfromthe

PPIgroup(ProtonPumpInhibitors)duringtreatmentwith

thismedicine(see“DRUGINTERACTIONS”).Informthe

physician about any other medicine you are taking.

Itshouldbenotedthattherearepeoplewhodonot

metabolizeclopidogreloptimallyandthuswillnotachieve

maximalbenefitfromthemedicine.Itisrecommended

thatyouconsultthephysicianregardingtheneedfor

diagnosticteststocheckyourmetabolismlevelandyou

shouldnotstoptakingthemedicineunlesssoinstructed

by the attending physician.

dRug inteRaCtionS:

Ifyouaretakinganotherdrugconcurrently,includingnon-

prescriptionmedicinesandfoodsupplements,orifyou

havejustfinishedtreatmentwithanothermedicine,inform

theattendingphysicianinordertopreventhazardsorlack

ofefficacyarisingfromdruginteractions.Thisisespecially

importantformedicinesbelongingtothefollowinggroups:

aspirinandotherNSAIDs(non-steroidalanti-inflammatory

drugs)takenoveraprolongedperiod.However,inpatients

sufferingfromunstableanginapectorisorwhohavehad
