HANDLING PRECAUTIONS DANGER May be harmful if swallowed, inhaled, or
absorbed through the
skin. May cause an allergic skin reaction. Suspected of causing
genetic defects, damaging fertility or
the unborn child, and harm to breast-fed children from repeated oral
exposure. May cause damage
to the blood/blood system, heart and liver from repeated oral exposure
at high does. Avoid skin, eye
contact or inhalation. Avoid contact during pregnancy/breast-feeding.
Wear protective clothing and
gloves. Use in a well-ventilated area. Wash hands and exposed skin
after handling. Do not eat, drink
or smoke while using.
FIRST AID IF SWALLOWED do not induce vomiting. For advice contact the
National Poisons Centre 0800
POISON (0800 764 766) or a doctor immediately. IF ON SKIN wash with
plenty of soap and water. IF IN
EYES rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. IF INHALED
remove to fresh air. If skin
irritation/rash occurs, or eye irritation persists, get medical
advice.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION WARNING Very toxic to aquatic organisms with
long-lasting effects.
Harmful to the soil environment and terrestrial vertebrates. Very
toxic to terrestrial invertebrates.
Avoid release to the environment and contamination of any water supply
with product or empty
container. Collect spillage.
DISPOSAL Dispose of any unused contents in an approved landfill.
Triple rinse empty container.
Recycle or crush/puncture empty container and bury in an approved
landfill.
