The ingredients are not listed as carcinogenic in Worksafes document “Exposure Standards

for Atmospheric Contaminants in the Occupational Environment”(May 1995)

Swallowed:

the product should be considered to be harmful by ingestion.

Eye:

this product maybe mildly irritant to the eyes. It is unlikely to cause any long lasting

effects

Inhaled:

this product may cause mild irritation irritation to the upper respiratory tract.

First Aid

Swallowed:

if more than 15 minutes from a hospital induce vomiting, preferably using

Ipecac Syrup APF

hold eyes open and wash with running water. Ensure irrigation under eyelids.

Skin:

wash with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing and ensure it is washed

before using again.

Inhaled:

remove to fresh air. Lay victim down and keep warm and rested. If irritation

becomes painful or persist more than 30 minutes seek medical advice.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

Exposure Standards:

A TWA has not been established by Worksafe for the major ingredients in this product. There

is a blanket recommendation of 10mg/m

for inspirable dusts or mists when limits have not

been established. The nature of this product makes it unlikely that this level will be

approached in normal use.

Engineering Controls:

4. SAFE HANDLING INFORMATION

Storage & Transport:

There are no special requirements for this product. Observe appropriate State regulations.

Containers should be kept closed to minimize contamination. Keep from extreme heat.

Spills & Disposal:

Prevent spillages from entering drains and watercourses. As a minimum, wear overalls,

goggles and gloves. Stop leak if safe to do so and contain spill. Sweep and shovel or collect

recoverable material into labelled containers for disposal or reuse. Wash area, preventing

runoff from entering drains. This material may be suitable for approved landfill. Dispose of in

compliance with local, state and federal regulations. Launder all contaminated clothing before

reuse.

Fire/Explosion Hazard:

There is no explosion hazard from this material under normal circumstances.

Fire/explosion hazards: decomposition products are toxic and corrosive. May form flammable

or explosive dust clouds in air.

Decomposition products: carbon monoxide and smoke (if combustion is incomplete), nitrogen
