BTL-4000 is a series of non-invasive therapeutic devices which can be configured to consist of up to three generators – electrotherapy, ultrasound therapy and laser therapy. The use of electrotherapy is accepted in the field of rehabilitation for acute and chronic pain management, treatment of neuromuscular dysfunctions, a range of joint mobility improvement, acute and chronic oedema reduction, peripheral blood flow improvement. Ultrasound therapy is mainly intended for muscles and connective tissues(ligaments, tendons and fascia) relaxation and local increase of blood flow. Low-level laser is useful in cases of minor muscle and joint pain, muscle spasm, pain and stiffness associated with arthritis.
