CLINICAL PARTICULARS
4.1 TARGET SPECIES
Dogs and Cats INDICATIONS FOR USE, SPECIFYING THE TARGET SPECIES
For the control of fleas on dogs and cats CONTRA-INDICATIONS
Do not use any other insecticide concurrently or within 7 days of last
use.
Do not use more often than weekly.
Do not use on puppies and kittens under 12 weeks of age.
4.4 SPECIAL WARNINGS FOR EACH TARGET SPECIES
Some cats dislike aerosols and might be better treated by another
method.
Remove fleas from young animals and nursing females by careful use of
a flea comb.
Fleas from pets often infest animal baskets, bedding and regular
resting areas such
as carpets and soft furnishings, which should be dusted also and
vacuumed
regularly.
4.5 SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

For external use only.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN BY THE PERSON ADMINISTERING THE
MEDICINAL
PRODUCT TO ANIMALS
Propoxur is a cholinesterase inhibitor. DO NOT USE if under medical
advice not
to work with ANTICHOLINESTERASES.
Do not spray on a naked flame or any incandescent material.
Do not pierce or burn container even when empty.
HIGHLY FLAMMABLE.
Do not breathe spray mist.
Use in a well-ventilated area.
Wash hands after use.
Do not smoke whilst using the spray.
Keep away from food and drink, including animal feeding stuffs.
Avoid contact with the eyes. If sprayed in the eyes, wash the eyes
thoroughly
with plenty of clean, running water and seek medical advice.
Keep treated animals away from fires and other sources of heat for at
least 30
minutes following spraying and until the fur is totally dry.
