General Instructions:
Baracuda Spa Granular Bromine dissolves completely to provide
effective sanitation
without leaving cloudiness or insoluble residue in the spa water.
Regular oxidation with
granular spa bromine destroys wastes such as body oils, cosmetics and
perspiration,
leaving the water clear to bath in.
This product has been especially designed for use in spa pools and hot
tubs. Before dosing
the spa or hot tub, it is recommended:
1. This product contains a stabilised chlorine compound. Prior to
dosing the spa it is
recommended that:
a. The filtration system is properly cleaned and back washed
b. The water to be tested and balanced by your local Zodiac Dealer
2. As a daily Sanitiser: Apply 6-10 grams of Baracuda Spa Granular
Bromine per 1,000
litres. Add the product directly to the spa without any bathers
present with the pump and RLP APPROVED
filter operating. Test for available Bromine and repeat the dosage at
15 minute intervals
until a residual of 4.0ppm is achieved in water above 26°C
3. As an oxidiser: To destroy organic wastes, periodic oxidation is
recommended
immediately after heavy bathing use, or once a week after moderate
use. Apply 25 grams
of Baracuda Spa Granular Bromine per 1,000 litres as often as is
required. Bathers should
not re-enter the spa until the bromine residual falls below 6.0ppm
4. In order to maintain the correct sanitation, the spa must be
completely drained on a
regular basis. Cons
