WHAT B-MYCIN CREAM IS USED FOR
To treat various skin lesions infected by common
skin germs (bacteria) which worsen other skin
problems.
HOW B-MYCIN CREAM WORKS
B-MYCIN
CREAM
contains
two
active
ingredients
which
are
gentamicin
and
betamethasone. Gentamicin
is
an
antibiotic
which kills the bacteria that caused the infection.
Betamethasone
dipropionate
is
a
corticosteroid
that
reduces
inflammation,
itchiness and other skin allergy reaction.
BEFORE YOU USE B-MYCIN CREAM
- _When you must not use it_
Do not use if you are allergic to gentamicin or
betamethasone or any other ingredients of this
medicine (listed in Product Description).
_- Before you start to use it _
_Pregnancy and lactation _
Please consult your doctor or pharmacist if you
are pregnant, planning for pregnancy or breast-
feeding
before
using
any
medicine.
B-mycin
cream is not recommended for use in nursing
mothers._ _

Tell your doctor if you are taking any other
medicines, including any that you buy without a
prescription from a pharmacy, supermarket or
health food shop.
HOW TO USE B-MYCIN CREAM
- _How much to use_
Apply thinly
to the affected skin area twice daily.
- _When to use it_
Use twice daily or as directed by your doctor or
pharmacist.
- _How long to use it_
Use B-MYCIN CREAM for the duration that
the doctor recommends.
Do not use B-MYCIN CREAM for prolonged
time.
_- If you forgot to use it _
If you forget to apply the cream, apply the cream
as soon as possible and then continue the rest of
the treatment as usual.
- _If you use too much (overdose)_
