Composition: Active Ingredients: Tetrahydrozoline HCL 0.05%.
Non-active Ingredients: Purified Water, Povidone, Boric Acid,
Sodium Chloride, Disodium EDTA, Borax, Benzalkonium Chloride.
Therapeutic Activity: For the relief of mild ocular irritation caused
by various factors such as smoke, dust, pollen, etc.
this product is not suited for treating eye infections.
When the preparation should not be used:
Do not use this preparation if you have a known sensitivity to any
of its ingredients or if it changes color and becomes cloudy.
Do NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE WITHOUT FIRST CONSULTING A DOCTOR if
you are pregnant (first or last trimester) or nursing or if you
suffer
from a heart complaint or high blood pressure or glaucoma.
Warnings: Do not use this preparation frequently or for extended
periods of time without first consulting your doctor. The product
contains the preservative Benzalkonium Chloride that could be
absorbed by soft contact lenses. This product should not be used
if you wear soft contact lenses. The lenses should be removed
before using the product and should only be replaced 15 minutes
following application of the medication to the eyes.
Drug Interaction: If you are taking another drug concomitantly
or if you have just finished treatment with another medicine, inform
the attending doctor to prevent hazards or lack of efficacy arising
from drug interactions.
Side Effects: In addition to the desired effect, adverse reactions
may occur during the course of taking this medicine.
Side effects that require special attention: If you experience
any changes in your vision, pain, redness, irritation or the rare case
of a headache as a result of using this preparation, discontinue
treatment and consult your doctor immediately. Any time you
experience side effects that are not listed in this leaflet, or if
you
feel any change in your general health, consult your doctor
immediately.
Dosage: 1-2 drops 3 times a day or as directed by your doctor.
