EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine lowers blood pressure by reducing peripheral vascular
resistance via
antagonizing receptor of angiotensin II, an intrinsic substance which
raises blood pressure by
constricting blood vessels.
It is usually used to treat hypertension.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch,
rash, etc.) to any medicines
or foods.
If you have a high blood potassium level, renal disorder, liver
disorder or cerebrovascular
disorder.
If you are a preoperative patient, receiving hemodialysis or on a
regimen of low-salt diet.
・If you are pregnant, possibly pregnant or breastfeeding.
