ACTIVE CONSTITUENT: 200 G/KG CHLORTETRACYCLINE
For inclusion in the feed of pigs for prophylactic use when the
veterinarian considers them to be at
risk from disease, or for the treatment of diseases in pigs and
poultry caused by micro-organisms
sensitive to chlortetracycline.
WARNING: Causes skin irritation and serious eye irritation. Very toxic
to aquatic life with long
lasting effect.
PRECAUTIONS: Wash hands and skinthoroughly after handling. Wear
protective gloves and
eye/face protection. Avoid release to the environment.
STORAGE: Store below 30°C (Room Temperature) in a dry place.
DISPOSAL: Dispose of empty bags by putting in garbage. Collect
spillage.
FIRST AID: If medical advice is required, have product container or
label at hand. IF ON SKIN:
Wash with plenty of soap and water. Take off contaminated clothing and
wash before reuse. If
skin irritation occurs seek medical advice/attention. IF IN EYES:
Rinse cautiously with water for
several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do.
Continue rinsing. If eye
irritation persists, seek medical advice/attention.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Records of use must be kept.
PROPHYLACTIC USE:
Use during periods of stress such as weaning, vaccination,
transportation, rehousing, etc. when
there is danger of development of disease.
Thoroughly mix 500 g AUROFAC 200G into each tonne of feed to give 100
g/tonne of
chlortetracycline and administer for a period of up to 4 weeks when
protection is required.
THERAPEUTIC USE:
Thoroughly mix 2 kg AUROFAC 200G into each tonne of feed to give 400
g/tonne of
chlortetracycline and administer for a period not exceeding 7 days as
indicated.
WITHHOLDING PERIODS
IT IS AN OFFENCE FOR USERS OF THIS PRODUCT TO CAUSE RESIDUES EXCEEDING
