WHAT ASUMALIFE
® SYRUP
IS USED FOR
Asumalife
®
Syrup is used to prevent
asthma
attacks
and
treat
allergic
conditions
such
as
runny
nose,
sneezing, nose itching. However, it is
not used to treat established attach of
asthma.
HOW ASUMALIFE
® SYRUP
WORKS
Asumalife
®
Syrup is an antihistamine
agent
which
reduces
the
allergic
reaction by reducing histamine release
in the body.
BEFORE YOU USE ASUMALIFE
® SYRUP
_- When you must not use it _
If you are allergic towards ketotifen.
Asumalife
®
Syrup
should
not
be
taken when you have sudden asthma
attacks.
Avoid
giving
Asumalife
®
Syrup to children below 1 year old.
_- Before you start to use it _
Consult
your
doctor
or
pharmacist
regarding
the
consumption
of
Asumalife
®
Syrup
if
you
are
pregnant or breastfeeding. Tell your
doctor
or
pharmacist
if
you
are
allergic to any other medicines or you
have
any
other
health
related
problems.

_- Taking other medicines _
Do not use:
•
Asumalife
®
Syrup
concurrently
with
other
medication
including
sedatives,
hypnotics
and
antihistamines.
•
ketotifen
and
oral
antidiabetic
agents at the same time to prevent
drops in platelet count.
•
Besides,
you
must
also
inform
doctor or pharmacist about all the
medicines you are taking, including
those
without
a
prescription.

retard or inhibit blood clot).
HOW TO USE ASUMALIFE
® SYRUP
_- How much to use _
The recommended dose for children 6
months-3 years of age is 0.25ml per kg
body weight twice daily. For adult and
children
over
3
years
of
age,
the
recommended dose is 5ml twice daily.
