Therapeutic indications:

It is a monofilament synthetic absorbable suture composed of Poly-p-Dioxanon and available dyed and undyed. Absorption is complete after about 210 days. Intended for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation and should not be used in cases where an extended wound support over a period of 6 weeks is desirable. AssuCryl MonoSlow can also be used in paediatric cardiovascular surgery, microsurgery and ophthalmologic surgery.
