PER12291 Permit Version 2 Page 1 of 2 PERMIT TO ALLOW MINOR USE OF AN AGVET CHEMICAL PRODUCT FOR CONTROL OF MEALYBUGS IN COTTON PERMIT NUMBER - PER12291 This permit is issued to the Permit Holder in response to an application granted by the APVMA under section 112 of the Agvet Codes of the jurisdictions set out below. This permit allows a person, as stipulated below, to use the product in the manner specified in this permit in the designated jurisdictions. This permit also allows any person to claim that the product can be used in the manner specified in this permit. THIS PERMIT IS IN FORCE FROM 2 FEBRUARY 2011 TO 31 DECEMBER 2020. PER12291 Permit Version 2 Page 2 of 2 CONDITIONS OF USE PRODUCTS TO BE USED: SUPRATHION 400 EC INSECTICIDE Plus ALL OTHER REGISTERED PRODUCTS Containing: 400 g/L METHIDATHION as their only active constituent. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: CROP INSECT PEST RATE COTTON MEALYBUGS (Pseudococcidae) 1.4 L product/ha CRITICAL USE COMMENTS: Apply spray treatment when successive checks indicate population is increasing rapidly in size, and before dense colonies are evident. If mealybug populations reach high levels, or conditions favour rapid pest population build-up, then repeat applications may be required. Minimum re-treatment interval of 5 – 7 days should be observed. Thorough coverage of the foliage is essential. The use of a higher spray volume will enable more thorough coverage, especially under adverse conditions, such as hot, dry weather and/or dense canopy cover. Apply minimum spray volume of 50 L/ha by air or 100-450 L/ha by ground rig. DO NOT apply more than 3 applications per crop. Applications MUST be undertaken in accordance with the Australian Cotton Industry’s _Best Management Practices_ guidelines.
