ALBENDAZOLE SHEEP HI-MINERAL
Contains: 23.8g/L albendazole; each 10mL contains 5mg selenium,
2.5mg cobalt and 21mg of copper.
For the control of sensitive mature & immature Haemonchus, Ostertagia,
Trichostrongylus, Nematodirus, Cooperia, Strongyloides, Bunostomum,
Oesophagostomum, Chabertia, Trichuris, Dictyocaulus, Moniezia and
adult
fluke in sheep.
Albendazole Sheep Hi-Mineral is an albendazole drench containing a
member of the benzimidazole family. Albendazole Sheep Hi-Mineral is
effective against internal parasites sensitive to this family.
Resistance can
develop to any anthelmintic.
Ask your local veterinary practitioner or animal health adviser for
recommended parasite management practices for your area to reduce
development of resistance. It is advisable that a resistance test be
conducted regularly when using any parasite treatment.
PRECAUTIONS: DO NOT USE AT THE SAME TIME AS ANY
OTHER SELENISED FERTILISER, PRILL OR PRODUCT WITHOUT
CONSULTING A VETERINARIAN.
DO NOT EXCEED STATED DOSE VOLUME AND FREQUENCY. IN SHEEP,
LIVER LEVELS OF COPPER MAY BE QUITE VARIABLE. CONSEQUENTLY,
THERE IS ALWAYS A RISK OF COPPER-POISONING (DEATHS)
OCCURING FOLLOWING COPPER SUPPLEMENTATION IN THIS SPECIES.
IT IS AN OFFENCE FOR USERS OF THIS PRODUCT TO CAUSE RESIDUES EXCEEDING
THE
RELEVANT MRL IN THE FOOD NOTICE: MAXIMUM RESIDUE LEVELS FOR
AGRICULTURAL
COMPOUNDS.
WITHHOLDING PERIODS:
MILK: Milk intended for sale for human consumption must be discarded
during treatment and for not less than 35 days following the last
treatment.
