EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine lowers pulmonary artery pressure by stimulating soluble
guanylate cyclase
(sGC) in the vascular endothelial cells, promoting the production of
intracellular cyclic
guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) and relaxing the blood vessels.
It is usually used to treat chronic thromboembolic pulmonary
hypertension and pulmonary
arterial hypertension.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch,
rash, etc.) to any medicines

If you have liver or renal dysfunction, hypotension or pulmonary
veno-occlusive disease.
If you are on dialysis or smoker.
