1. WHAT WARIMAZOL VAG 1 % IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR
WARIMAZOL VAG 1 % is an antimycotic. Its active substance clotrimazole
belongs
to the group of broad-spectrum antimycotic agents and acts to treat
infections
caused by fungi.
Indications: Inflammation of the vagina and discharge caused by fungi
- usually
Candida - as well as superinfections by clotrimazole-sensitive
bacteria.
2. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU USE WARIMAZOL VAG 1 %
DO NOT USE WARIMAZOL VAG 1 %:
- if you are allergic to clotrimazole or any of the other ingredients
of this medicine
(listed in section 6).
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS

OTHER MEDICINES AND WARIMAZOL VAG 1%:
_Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using, have recently
taken/used or might _
_take/use any other medicines._
Clotrimazole reduces the efficacy of amphotericin and other polyene
antibiotics
(nystatin, natamycin). Dexamethasone in high doses may possibly reduce
clotrimazole’s effectiveness.
PREGNANCY AND BREAST-FEEDING
_If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or
are planning to have a _
_baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this
medicine._
In the first third of pregnancy, vaginal creams should only be used
under special
precaution and previous consideration of possible alternative
therapeutics. If a
