WHAT UROSIN FILM COATED TABLET
IS USED FOR
For
the
treatment
of
hypertension
and
angina pectoris.
HOW UROSIN FILM COATED TABLET
WORKS
UROSIN
known
as
beta-blocker,
are
medication that reduces your blood pressure.
UROSIN works by blocking the effects of the
hormone
epinephrine,
also
known
as
adrenaline.
When
you
take
UROSIN,
the
heart beats more slowly and with less force,
thereby
reducing
blood
pressure.
UROSIN
also help blood vessels open up to improve
blood flow
.
BEFORE YOU USE UROSIN FILM COATED
TABLET
_When you must not use it _
When you are allergic to atenolol or you have
asthma as well as any history of obstructive
airway diseases. Please consult your doctor if
you have other heart problem.
_Before you start to use it _
Tell your doctor if you are using any other
medicines.
_Taking other medicines _
Salbutamol
and
isoprenaline
can be
used
together with atenolol but appropriate care
should be taken. Care is needed when β-
blockers
are
combined
with
class
I
antiarrhythmic agents, (e.g. disopyramide) or
calcium
antagonists
of
the
verapamil
type.
HOW
TO
USE
UROSIN
FILM
COATED
TABLET
_How much to use _
For
hypertension,
50-100mg
per
day
alone
or
in
conjunction
with
other
antihypertensive agents. Angina pectoris:
50-100mg once a day or in divided doses
for most patients. Increasing the dosage
more than 100mg is unlikely to produce
more beneficial effects.
_When to use it _
UROSIN
Film
