Ιδρύθηκε αθηροσκληρωτική καρδιαγγειακή νόσο praluent ενδείκνυται σε ενήλικες με εγκατεστημένη αθηροσκληρωτική καρδιαγγειακή νόσο, να μειώσουν τον καρδιαγγειακό κίνδυνο από τη μείωση της ldl-c επίπεδα, ως συμπληρωματικό της διόρθωσης άλλων παραγόντων κινδύνου:σε συνδυασμό με τη μέγιστη ανεκτή δόση στατίνης με ή χωρίς άλλες υπολιπιδαιμικές θεραπείες ή,μόνη της ή σε συνδυασμό με άλλες υπολιπιδαιμικές θεραπείες σε ασθενείς που λαμβάνουν στατίνη-δυσανεξία, ή για τους οποίους μια στατίνη αντενδείκνυται.
