EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine relieves pain at doses that do not affect to the motor
center and perception,
and suppresses respiratory and cough center. This medicine also
contracts the smooth muscle
of the digestive tract to inhibit movement of the stomach and
intestines, thereby relieving
diarrhea.
It is usually used for pain relief and sedation in severe pain,
antitussive in coughing attacks,
reliefe from diarrhea and inhibition of intestinal motility after
surgery, premedication with
anesthesia, adjuncts to anesthesia, and analgesic in various cancers.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS

AND PHARMACIST.
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch,
rash, etc.) to any medicines
or foods.
If you have difficulty breathing, a bronchial asthma attack, disease
of the liver, lungs and
cardiac, seizures, alcoholism, hemorrhagic colitis, bacterial
diarrhea, sepsis, central nervous
system disorders (e.g. meningitis, poliomyelitis, tabes dorsalis),
tuberculosis of the spinal
cord and spine, spondylitis and metastatic tumors.
