WHAT
METOCLOPRAMIDE
ACTAVIS IS USED FOR
Metoclopramide Actavis is used
to:
• relieve symptoms of digestive
disorders
including
heartburn,
feeling or being sick caused by
indigestion with wind, stomach
upset, acid reflux in the stomach
• relieve nausea and vomiting
•
help
restore
normal
gut
movements
HOW
METOCLOPRAMIDE ACTAVIS
WORK
Metoclopramide Actavis belong
to a group of medicines which
speed up stomach emptying and
also
prevent
vomiting
(being
sick).
BEFORE
YOU
USE
METOCLOPRAMIDE ACTAVIS
_-When you must not take it _
Do
not
take
Metoclopramide
Actavis if:
•
you
are
allergic
(hypersensitive)
to
metoclopramide or any of the
other ingredients in the tablets
•
You
have
severe
kidney
problems
• You have high blood pressure
due to a tumour near the kidney
(phaeochromocytoma)
• You have had an operation
on
your
stomach
or
intestines
within the last 3-4 days.

You
should
check
with

doctor
or
pharmacist
before
taking Metoclopramide Actavis
if:
• you have liver impairment or
severe kidney
disease
• you have Parkinson’s disease
