EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine is combined preparation of progesterone-like and
estrogen-like substance. It
suppresses ovulation, inhibits implantation by change in the
endometrial membrane and
inhibits sperm penetration by change in the cervical mucus to prevent
pregnancy.
It is usually used to prevent pregnancy.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itching,
rash, etc.) to any
medicines or foods.
If you have estrogen-dependent cancer (breast cancer, endometrial
cancer), cervical cancer,
atypical genital hemorrhage, thrombophlebitis/pulmonary
embolism/cerebrovascular
disorder/coronary artery disease or a history of them, smoking habit,
migraine, valvular heart
disease, diabetic mellitus, thrombotic predisposition (including
family members),
antiphospholipid antibody syndrome, long-term bed rest, liver
disorder, liver tumor, abnormal
lipid metabolism, hypertension, otosclerosis or a history of
jaundice/persistent
itching/gestational herpes during pregnancy.
If your bone growth has not ended yet.
If you are scheduled for surgery within the next 4 weeks/had surgery
within 2
weeks/delivered within 4 weeks.
