How to Use: Withholding Periods: How to Prepare: GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS If a salt chlorinator is used, cease operation for at least 24 hours prior to adding Hy-Clor SaltActive Salt Water Algaecide. Chlorination of the pool water should cease 24 hours prior to adding Hy-Clor SaltActive Salt Water Algaecide. DO NOT add chlorinated compounds or any alkaline material for 24 hours after adding Hy-Clor SaltActive Salt Water Algaecide. Copper in water acts as a catalyst to reduce the activity of chlorine. • Adjust the pH reading to between 7.2 and 7.6. RLP APPROVED Page 2 of 2 • Ensure the filtration system is operational for at least 2 - 3 hours during and after treatment. • It is important to clean and vacuum the pool the next morning after treatment to remove dead algae. Precautions: CAUTION Not to be used as a food container. Excessive copper concentrations may stain hair and swim wear as well as discolour pool surface. Protections: Storage and Disposal: Store in the closed, original container in a cool dry place out of reach of children. Do not store in direct sunlight.
