GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
If a salt chlorinator is used, cease operation for at least 24 hours
prior to adding Hy-Clor
SaltActive Salt Water Algaecide. Chlorination of the pool water should
cease 24 hours prior
to adding Hy-Clor SaltActive Salt Water Algaecide.
DO NOT add chlorinated compounds or any alkaline material for 24 hours
after adding
Hy-Clor SaltActive Salt Water Algaecide. Copper in water acts as a
catalyst to reduce the
activity of chlorine.
• Adjust the pH reading to between 7.2 and 7.6. RLP APPROVED

• Ensure the filtration system is operational for at least 2 - 3
hours during and after
treatment.
• It is important to clean and vacuum the pool the next morning
after treatment to remove
dead algae.
Precautions:
CAUTION
Not to be used as a food container. Excessive copper concentrations
may stain hair and
swim wear as well as discolour pool surface.

Store in the closed, original container in a cool dry place out of
reach of children. Do not
store in direct sunlight.

Dispose of container by wrapping in paper, placing in a plastic bag
and placing in a
garbage bin.
FOR CONTAINER 2L AND ABOVE
Triple-rinse containers before disposal. Add rinsings to pool. Do not
dispose of undiluted
chemicals on site. If recycling, replace cap and return clean
containers to recycler or
designated collection point.

SWALLOWED
Rinse mouth. DO NOT induce vomiting. Give milk, gelatin solution or
egg white if available and transport to hospital immediately. If
vomiting
occurs give more milk. NEVER give anything by mouth to an
unconscious person. Place in coma position and maintain aspiration.
EYE
Hold eyes open and flush with water for at least 15 minutes. Seek
medical attention promptly.
