BLOCARE 4511 has been designed for use under severe bloat challenge
conditions and contains 97.4% w/v propylene and alcohol ethoxylates..
BY LAW THE USER MUST TAKE DUE CARE, OBTAINING EXPERT ADVICE WHEN
NECESSARY, TO AVOID UNNECESSARY PAIN AND DISTRESS WHEN USING THE
PRODUCT
OTHER THAN AS DIRECTED ON THE LABEL.
DRENCHING: The following table is a guide only as bloat conditions can
be very
unpredictable and vary greatly.
VERY SEVERE CHALLENGE: (16mL concentrate) Prepare stock solution by
adding one part of concentrate to two parts of cold water, stir well
and store in a
closed container. Dose: 50mL twice daily.
SEVERE CHALLENGE: (10-12.mL concentrate) Reduce dose of concentrate by
changing stock solution to one part to three parts water or one part
to four parts.
Maintain does at 50mL twice daily.
MODERATE CHALLENGE: (7-8mL concentrate) Reduce concentrate level to
one part to five for Friesians or one part to six for Jerseys.
Maintain does of
50mL twice daily.
LIGHT CHALLENGE: (5mL concentrate) Reduce concentrate dilution to one
part to nien parts. Maintain dose of 50mL twice daily or use one part
to two parts
and a 15mL dose. This is the minimum dose at which this drench is
effective.
Dosing at this level should be continued during periods when bloat
risk is
minimal.
Once daily dosing with twice the amount of concentrate can be used if
desired
under moderate challenge conditions.
WATER TROUGHS:.
PADDOCK TROUGHS: Introduce treatment at low dose levels before
challenge
starts. Initially charge troughs with 30mL of concentrate per 100
