PER14415 Permit Version 2 Page 1 of 2 PERMIT TO ALLOW EMERGENCY USE OF A REGISTERED AGVET CHEMICAL PRODUCT FOR CONTROL OF CAROB MOTH IN ALMONDS PERMIT NUMBER - PER14415 This permit is issued to the Permit Holder in response to an application granted by the APVMA under section 112 of the Agvet Codes of the jurisdictions set out below. This permit allows a person, as stipulated below, to use the product in the manner specified in this permit in the designated jurisdictions. This permit also allows any person to claim that the product can be used in the manner specified in this permit. PER14415 Permit Version 2 Page 2 of 2 CONDITIONS OF USE PRODUCT TO BE USED: DUPONT ALTACOR HORT INSECTICIDE Plus OTHER REGISTERED PRODUCTS Containing: 350 g/kg CHLORANTRANILIPROLE as its only active constituent. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: CROP INSECT PEST RATE ALMONDS Carob moth (_Ectomyelois ceratoniae_) 280 g product / ha CRITICAL USE COMMENTS: Carefully monitor for eggs and larvae by regular field scouting at the beginning of the season. The first application should be when 1-5% of the almond hull sutures are opening. Target sprays against mature eggs and newly-hatched larvae. Apply by airblast sprayer or equivalent and ensure thorough coverage of all leaf and nut surfaces. DO NOT apply more than two (2) applications of the chlorantraniliprole based product per season, with a minimum re-treatment interval of 7 days between consecutive applications. WITHHOLDING PERIOD: HARVEST: DO NOT harvest for 10 DAYS after application. GRAZING: DO NOT allow livestock to graze in treated areas JURISDICTION: ALL STATES, except VIC. Note: Victoria is not included in this permit, as their _Control-of-Use_ legislation does not require a permit to legalise this off-label use in that state.
